Although the Charming core does not contain any icon set by default, I’ve ensured compatibility with a couple of third party icon sets.
The example site “Startup” uses the Stroke 7 Icon Font Set by Pixeden. You may also use Font-Awesome. Icons should be interchangeable, although obviously you need to adjust the class names when using one or the other icon set.
